Our research in plant taxonomy aims to survey, discover and describe novel plants and document the diverse flora of the Western Ghats. Conservation efforts focus on population studies, identification of threats and safeguarding endangered and native plant species through scientific strategies. Multiplication of threatened species through traditional/advanced techniques and their reintroduction into their natural ecosystem is another goal.
